At this time, Dr. Kanani is offering primary care services to patients who need them. This is based on a membership model of care known as Direct Primary Care. You pay the practice a monthly fee.
Dr. Kanani does not accept health insurance at this time, but all members are required to have health insurance in order to cover lab testing, imaging, and hospital bills. We can provide a superbill which can be submitted to your health insurance for reimbursement.

Functional medicine is the use of in depth testing for hormones, gut health, and nutritional status that is used to address the root causes of many chronic health conditions. For patients interested in functional medicine there is not a membership fee, but rather pay as you go.
Usually with chronic health conditions, in-depth testing and assessment is required to uncover underlying causes. These tests are usually in the range of hundreds of dollars. Standard laboratory testing will be covered by your health plan.
